Our Story

Matriks was started by two guys with the same mission.

December 2012
Co-founders Matt and Fareed met at the Old Trafford cricket club lounge and shared ideas about building a tech startup.
February 2013
🚀 Matriks launches
Matriks was incorporated with a mission to help people get things done using technology.

March 2013
We rented our first office space in Paragon House, Old Trafford. In the same month, we hired our team of three developers.

We started working on our SaaS project, Zoom Dispatch.

April 2015
We launched our first product, a fleet management and auto dispatch system, Zoom Dispatch 🎉

This was our SaaS solution for taxi companies to compete in a post-Uber era.

December 2016
Our Zoom Dispatch clientele reached a milestone of 100 customers across the UK and 5 countries in the Europe 🎉

We started preparations to launch Zoom Dispatch in the US and Asia. We launched customised passenger and driver apps for our clients.

June 2017
After the successful launch of our SaaS product, we offered our technology consultancy and software development services to other businesses.

Our first major client was a nonprofit organisation, Mercy Ships. We developed an event booking system for their speakers. We also rebranded and developed their new website.

September 2019
We raised funding to grow our team across 5 countries. We set up our new office in Gloucestershire.
January 2020
Covid-19 restrictions
With Covid-19 lockdowns, work from home kicked-in. Since then 80% of our team work remotely without any compromise on the quality of projects we deliver.

To achieve greater productivity, we work in 2-week sprints and have weekly sprint meetings so that our team stays on track.
